Pitch the pages AI already cites.
Here’s the targeting rule this tool uses: when an AI engine answered your buyer’s question, it cited specific pages — roundups, directories, review sites, local press. A page the engines already cite that doesn’t name you is the first place to ask for a mention, because it is a page those engines have already read for your buyer’s question. This tool builds that target list from your own audit and drafts the pitches.
STEP 1 / TARGETS
Build the list from what the engines actually cited.
If you ran the Baseline Kit and filled in “sites the answer cited,” import it — every domain arrives ranked by how often it was cited, with the ones cited on questions where you weren’t named flagged as priority. Or add targets by hand as you spot them in answers.
| TARGET | CITED IN | NAMES YOU? | TYPE | STATUS |
|---|
STEP 2 / PITCH
The pitch: offer something real, ask for the obvious.
Selected target: —. Edit the draft until it sounds like you, find a real contact on their site, and send it from your own email. The draft leads with what you offer them — a local business their readers can actually use, with specifics. What you want comes last.
STEP 3 / CLOSE THE LOOP
A placement isn’t the win. The re-measure is.
When a target flips to PLACED, the question becomes: did the answers change? Re-run the Baseline Kit in a few weeks and watch the prompts that cited that domain. Engines re-crawl on their own schedule, so think in weeks, and never judge from one run.
THE PART A FREE TOOL CAN’T DO
Finding targets is free. Working the list every month is work.
Each re-measure records every site the engines listed as a source on your own questions, engine by engine, so this list refreshes from your data. On Done For You, we work that list with you.
